Main Shore Road Neighbourhood Association

The Main Shore Road Neighbourhood Association (MSRNA) was a non-profit volunteer coalition representing the interests of individuals and families living on the Main Shore Road in Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. The Association promoted the collective interests of its members in issues of health, safety, recreation, environment, zoning, and community-based services in the neighbourhood of the unpaved section of the Main Shore Road between Short Beach and the Port Maitland breakwater. The Association met regularly to discuss issues impacting the welfare of its members. The Association was active for six years from 6 August 2008 until 15 July 2014.

The Main Shore Road’s unpaved section begins at the intersection with Lake Darling Road at the bottom of the map; it extends 4.9 km north until the pavement begins shortly before the breakwater at the top of the map.
